Which NBMEs are the most predictive for Step 1? In our experience, since the new NBMEs were introduced, NBME form 18 has been the most predictive of students’ scores on test day. (Of the retired NBMEs, form 16 was the most predictive.)

Is NBME 24 predictive?

Currently, the available NBME CBSSA forms are Form 18, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 and are considered the best and most accurate way to assess one’s predicted performance on the USMLE Step 1.

Is free 120 predictive?

How is the NBME Free 120 Scored? The Free 120 does not generate a three-digit score. It does give you a percentage correct, which some people have tried to correlate to a Step 1 score, but there isn’t any real data about how predictive it is.

NBME practice exams are comprised of 4 sections composed of 50 questions each. With 1 minute and 30 seconds theoretically allotted to each question, you have 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete each section and 5 hours total for the whole exam.
