Mountainboarding, also known as Dirtboarding, Offroad Boarding, and All-Terrain Boarding (ATB), is a well established if little-known action sport, derived from snowboarding.

How does a mountain board work?

The idea is to make wide, carving turns, not to shoot straight down the hill as fast as you can. To steer a mountain board, you apply pressure to either the toe or heel side of the board and shift your body weight into the turn. The idea is to carve smooth, interconnected turns.
