How often is the Ncmhce offered?

For purposes of certification, the NCMHCE is administered twice a year, in April and October. It is delivered by computer at more than 900 Pearson VUE testing centers located throughout the United States.

For the purpose of board certification, NBCC currently administers the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) twice a year, in April and October. The NCE is either administered through Pearson VUE test centers or on participating college campuses.

How many times can you take Nbce Part 1?

If you are a graduate of an eligible college you may take Part I with online approval from the chiropractic college you attended. You may take the examinations as many times as needed to pass. However, be advised that individual states may impose different or additional requirements or restrictions.

The NCMHCE will transition to the new Content Outline and the new format in early 2022. This announcement provides a full year for you to prepare for the new format. NBCC and CCE will be field testing the items for the new examination in the meantime.
