If the weather is between 50 and 70 Degrees Fahrenheit, the Dicor Self Leveling Lap Sealant takes 5 minutes to skin over and is waterproof after 4 hours. How do I uninstall Dicor?
To remove the sealant, I’d use a plastic scraper and a heat gun to soften the caulk. A heat gun is easily capable of melting almost any plastic or caulk or roofing material, so caution is advised. Even a plastic scraper can slice your roofing material.
How do you remove Dicor self leveling sealant?
To remove it, use a plastic putty knife or other tool with dull edges. To avoid tearing a rubber roof membrane or scratching an aluminum roof, shimmy the tool around the edge of the caulk until it begins to lift.
Does Dicor go bad?
Dicor does have a shelf life of one year but the date is only on the case, not the individual tube. Might have to get one directly from Dicor and try again.
