The Prohibition of Keeping of Live fish (Crayfish) Order 1996. Made under the Import of Live Fish Act (1980), this Order (Crayfish Order) makes it an offence to keep any non-native species of crayfish in England and Wales without a licence (there is equivalent legislation in Scotland).
