Can horses have plain flour?

Never just give plain flour to a horse as there is no dietary benefit for the horse. When you buy in some horse feed during winter, it may contain molasses and horses do seem to like it.

The problem with wheat gluten balling up in the stomach or intestinal tract and causing blockage (colic) is not a concern with feeding bread because the yeast and the heat of baking have altered the gluten starch.
